ASE CERTIFIED Technician
Lot has worked as a Technician for over 25 years. He became the first team member to join Burdick Auto Solutions after his brother Earl opened in 2002. His training/education includes: GM ASEP graduate, 2 years associates degree in applied science, ASE master tech (A1-A8), ASE light duty diesel (A9), ASE advanced engine performance (L1), ASE undercar specialist (X1), multiple GM trainings, 5th place in Chrysler AAA troubleshooting contest for the state of Texas.
Lot feels Burdick Auto Solutions stands out from competitors due to the personal connections they make, their focus on educating customers (rather than pressure sales), competent technicians and employees. He enjoys working on everything from a 1930’s Rolls Royce to a 4 1/2 ton truck. He works on most of the “classic” cars, as well as several of the diesels that come in to the shop. He really enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles. He gets a great sense of satisfaction from having something come in broken, finding what’s wrong with it, and fixing it.
When Lot is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, collecting coins, camping, and growing peppers. He is very involved with his church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), The Boy Scouts of America (he is an Assistant Scoutmaster, Explorer Post Advisor, & serves on the District Advancement Committee), and Collin County Coin Club. He has been married to his wife Jayme for 20 years. She teaches World History at McKinney High School. They have one son who is a senior at Mckinney North. Their son, Eddie, plays cello in the orchestra, is left guard on the football team, and throws discus in track and field.
