Eric has worked in the automotive industry for 3 years. As the son of the owner Earl Burdick, he says he has worked at the shop since the beginning. Growing up a mechanic’s son, he has taken after his father with a natural ability to repair and fix things. He is a Senior at McKinney Boyd and is also attending Princeton High School’s Automotive program. He won 1st place at the regional “Skills USA Automotive Competition”, proudly representing Princeton High. He also placed 4th at State! All during his FIRST YEAR competing! We can not wait to see how he does this spring! Eric loves working at Burdick Auto Solutions due to the "family feel” and enjoys working with all the team members. He hopes to continue in his dad Earl and uncle Lot’s footsteps and become a fully certified automotive technician. His favorite vehicle to work on is his own personal truck, a 2003 Chevy T10. He loves to see and feel the improvements he is able to make with it. His advice to the community: “Know what warning signals your car has & learn the importance of simple maintenance on your vehicle.”
When Eric is not at work, he stays extremely busy with: school, church, Boy Scouts, Explorer Post, running his own lawn business, welding, and working with his hands. Most of all, he loves to spend his time helping other people and serving the community. His long-term goal is to attend college to obtain a degree in Automotive Business and take over Burdick Auto Solutions someday.
